Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida serving a dozen counties with a population in excess of 4 million. TGH was named the #1 hospital in Tampa Bay by U.S. News & World Report in 2014-2015.
The TGH Brandon Healthplex is Tampa General Hospital's first comprehensive ambulatory care center and will serve the Brandon and South Hillsborough County area. Scheduled to open in early Spring of 2017, the four-story, 130,000 square foot facility will have a free-standing adult and pediatric emergency department, ambulatory surgery center, imaging and lab services, pharmacy, physician offices and a helipad. The TGH Brandon Healthplex team will recognize the individual needs of each patient to provide outstanding care and an exceptional patient experience. It is conveniently located by the Selmon Expressway, Interstate 75 and South Falkenburg Road.
Brandon Healthplex Employees will orient and train at Tampa General Hospital's main campus located at 1 Tampa General Circle and will transition to the Healthplex site once open in early Spring of 2017.

Job Summary
Under supervision of the department leadership and according to established policies and procedures for various age groups of patients, performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, vascular and Doppler Technology in order to assist Radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of illness.
Evaluates processed sonographs in order to ensure that they are of acceptable quality.
Assesses the age-specific needs of the patients we serve.
Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Please note - This is a pool position.
Completion of a program in Sonographic Imaging from an accredited school with at least 2 years on the job training in a supervised setting within an ultrasound department.
Current CPR certification required.
RDMS registered.
2 years clinical experience/responsibility in diagnostic imaging department.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
