Loader/Unloader - A Shift Days
Select Staffing is recruiting for a loader unloader for a furniture company here in Polk County.
Associates must pass a 6 panel drug test upon the initial interview and have no felony convictions reported on a national background check.
The shifts will be either 6am-6-pm Sunday through Tuesday or Wednesday through Friday.
Must be open to working longer shifts and extra days.

Essential Functions:
1.
Load unload merchandise, i.
e.
, furniture, appliances and home furnishing accessories, from semi tractor trailers and other delivery vehicles- manually.
2.
Operate tugger, forklift, order selector, etc.
Shipping - Locate and pull merchandise to be loaded onto semi trailers.
Scan merchandise and sort it according to shipping dates Maintain designated areas in the warehouse where merchandise, already consigned to specific stores can be held until the proper ship date.
AND OR Receiving - Accurately scan merchandise into the warehouse system and check for accuracy.
Properly tag merchandise coming into the warehouse.
Sort merchandise for placement in warehouse storage.
Properly place merchandise in assigned racks and bins throughout the warehouse.
ADDITIONAL
Responsibilities:
1.
General housekeeping duties.
2.
Ability to recognize merchandise and manufacturer's numbers.
3.
Inspect merchandise for damages.
4.
Maintain bins in assigned areas, i.
e.
straighten, adjust, etc.
5.
Assist with other warehouse functions when required.
JOB
Qualifications:
1.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
-- 50 lbs.
chest high and maintain production for at least 12 hrs.
2.
Ability to lift, stand, bend, stoop, reach and walk for at least 12 hours per shift.
3.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a tugger, forklift, order selectors, etc4.
Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
5.
Must be able to read shipping tags, documents and work-related paperwork.
6.
Ability to associate numbers cross-reference for tagging.
7.
Ability to work a 12 hour shift - 3 days per week, and work overtime if necessary.
8.
Must be able to work independently, as well as with others.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
