Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Part Time - 20 hours per week - Schedule is TBD
General Description:
Performs administrative and office support activities for the Operations Team. Requires strong computer skills(including Word and Excel), flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible to the Director of Operations for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below. The Administrative Assistant would also be required to communicate frequently with other directors and team members.
Responsibilities:
Phone Coverage
Receiving Visitors
Preparation of mail, UPS/USPS/FedEx Packages
Preparation of new customer/project welcome packages
Ordering supplies and other equipment/inventory items needed for office and data gathering personnel.
Be familiar with functions of Operations Support Coordinator to enable him/her to assume duties of OSC in her absence.
May be called upon to assist with special projects
Preparation of personnel photos/badges
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have training and previous experience in office procedures and use of general office equipment. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; able to "think on your feet" when dealing with callers; a positive attitude with a customer service oriented "can do" approach to work. Knowledge of computers; specifically, experience in Microsoft Office is required. Must have superior organizational skills. Excellent problem solving and people skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, is also required.

COMPENSATION: Starting at $12/hr

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
