Fire Sprinkler - Apprentice (Brandon, FL)
compensation: 10-12/hr to start
contract to permanent
This is a labor intensive work-you will be cutting and threading steel pipe.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Candidates should have experience in, and want to work in a general labor/skilled technician environment i.e. some type of hands on mechanical, industrial, electrical, HVAC etc. bkgd.
In this entry level construction role you will work under the direct supervision of a qualified Journeyman Pipefitter laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for fire sprinkler systems.
Responsibilities:
Measuring, cutting, threading and assembling new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports
oCutting or drilling holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes
oPerforming rough-ins, repairing and replacing fixtures and locate, repair, or remove leaking or broken pipes
oAssisting pipefitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping.
oCutting pipe and lifting up to pipefitters
oFitting or assisting in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to using hand tools
oDisassembling and removing damaged or worn pipeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
