Talentcor Winnipeg is recruiting for our client located near Russell Manitoba, a food manufacturing plant requires a licensed Journeyman Industrial Electrician. Along with your Red Seal Journeyman ticket, you will posses at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production plant.
Accountabilities:
Preventative Maintenance, predictive and total productive maintenance experience
Read and interpret electrical blue prints and update as needed
Provide technical explanations and future recommendations to facility or maintenance managers
Responsibilities:
Undertake necessary overhaul and installation of equipment electrical needs
Testing and supportive documentation of all machines and electrical units
Install, troubleshoot, modify,
repair
, test, calibrate, program and configure and maintain all instrumentation and
computer
electrical and electronic equipment this will include hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC software such as RSView
Responsible for on-the-job training of apprentice workers
Requirements:
Must have a Red Seal, Journeyman Electrical license issued in Canada
Preference given to HI ticket but HC should apply as well if related industrial experience is reported on resume
Previous industrial experience of at least 2 years
Excellent computer skills and in-house software
Maintain accurate reports and logs
Keep area safe and clean at all times
Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as required
Unrestricted cross boarder mobility.
Total Compensation:
This is a day shift however; client is open to viewing candidates who prefer other shifts
