Job duties:
The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive.
Greets and assists all patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Ensures all patients and visitors are treated with courtesy and compassion.
Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system.
Provide information to callers and visitors about Humanitary Medical Center and our services.
Check-in/outpatients.
Schedules appointments and maintains appointment calendar.
Assists Physicians and Medical Assistance when necessary.
Ensures compliance with HIPPA.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
Bilingual - Must be able to communicate in Spanish and English.
Experience as a Receptionist/Front Office Assistant in the medical field.
Experience working with senior population is a plus.
Excellent customer service, reading and writing skills required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
