Project Scheduler
Urgently Hiring Full Time Contract Project site in Tampa, FLAvailable to start ASAP/$35-55 an hour Our company is seeking a project scheduler to join our team as a full-time employee on a project to project basis, and we have a project beginning now.
We are in need of applicants with prior industrial experience, who understand the fundamentals of working in a power and electrical plant.
The scheduler will act as a liaison between the project team and contractors in order to establish a schedule and complete the project in an appropriate amount of time.
It is essential that the applicant for this role is able to communicate effectively and pay attention to detail, as they will be working with multiple people.
Must be capable of beginning right away.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Experience in an industrial setting is required (power plants, chemical plants, manufacturing.
) Preferably as a project manager, scheduler, coordinator, or supervisor.
Previous experience as a project manager or scheduler required Bachelor's in business or engineering highly preferred Familiar with Microsoft Project highly preferred Excel, Teams, and Outlook experience highly preferred Maximo experience preferred PMP certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Be an interface to clients and develop a plan for their specific project Maintain a master schedule for assigned projects.
Coordinate and consult with project team members to ensure the completion of proper planning before the project is started.
Create and modify the schedule, detailing each sequence of work that should be done at a particular time.
Record and maintain reports of work being done on time, and work that is not Evaluate the progress of projects and prepare regular updates.
Coordinate with management, operations and contractors to discuss progress and find solutions to scheduling issues.
Provide input in developing work schedules and illustrate project timelines and milestones Understand and follow safety policies and procedures Other duties may be assigned Hourly Rate:
